Hanlyn Collective collaboration with Sesame Street
HANLYN COLLECTIVE TO DEBUT ECO-FRIENDLY SESAME STREET LOUNGE AND PLAYWEAR COLLECTION
TORONTO, ON – February 4, 2025 – Today, Hanlyn Collective announced the debut of an eco-friendly bamboo lyocell Sesame Street lounge and daywear collection. The Licensing Shop Inc. brokered the license agreement with Nelvana Enterprises, Sesame Workshop’s Canadian merchandising agent.
Based in Canada and founded in 2020, Hanlyn Collective is a direct-to-consumer success story focused on eco-friendly and ethically made lounge and playwear sized for infants to ‘Mommy/Daddy & Me’ coordinates. New collections launch every 2 weeks, including seasonal designs, supported with coordinated social media marketing campaigns.
Designed in Canada, products are only made with organic, ultra bamboo lyocell material which creates soft, breathable apparel especially delicate for sensitive skin.
Hanlyn Collective launched their first Canadian-exclusive Sesame Street branded collection in January 2025 with additional coordinated launches rolling throughout the next 24 months.
“We are very excited to collaborate on these new Sesame Street collections,” explained Donna Hamilton, President of Hanlyn Collective. “We have an extremely dedicated customer base and this announcement will be very well received. Sesame Street is a multi-generational brand with beloved characters that we all grew up with and adore.”
About Hanlyn Collective
Hanlyn Collective was created in 2020 during a moment of panic and uncertainty. The world was changing due to a pandemic and fast action had to be taken. The founder, Donna Hamilton, has always had a fashion forward thought process and fell in love with the feel and benefits of bamboo. She wanted to create a new business that provided comfortable and fashionable clothing for littles and adults while keeping true to her passion to lower the carbon footprint. Donna was a successful entrepreneur for 18 years in the events/seminar world before shifting her focus to growing Hanlyn Collective. She’s received praise for her high-quality products and
superior customer service…all while being a mother of two young kids! She is committed to ensuring a high standard for her business, she uses the highest quality Bamboo Lyocell and ensures that item is carefully inspected before shipping to its new home. She wants to make sure each person receives their perfect order and loves it as much as she loved designing it.
Donna is a true inspiration, after losing her business she didn’t give up! She did the research, found the best material and manufacturing team and took a leap of faith and followed her dreams. Learn more at www.hanlyncollective.com
